CTDA Webinar Overview:

When grout does its job — locking tiles tight, keeping out water, and giving floors and walls a finished look — nobody pays much attention to it.  It is only when…the grout begins to fail…color shading or variations, staining, chemical attack, cracking, powdering, or disintegration of the grout joint that the phone begins to ring off of the wall.  In this webinar we will discuss the importance of matching the ‘right grout’ to the ‘right application’….

    • What is the purpose of a grout joint?

    • What grout choices are available?

    • When does it make sense to use a cement-based grout —ascetically and economically?

    • What about ‘Reaction Resins’ (epoxy and urethane) grouts?

    • What about ‘premixed’ or ‘ready-to-use’ grouts —for residential only or can they be used on commercial or industrial projects?

    • Is there an industry recommended minimum grout joint size?

This webinar is free for CTDA Members thanks to a generous sponsorship from MAPEI.
