Yes, that's right! A costume is required to enter the 1950's!

One of the largest untouched areas of Florida is the famous Everglades. Proclaimed a World Heritage Site by the United Nations in 1979, the U.S. declared the Everglades "A place to be cherished for all mankind - a place to preserve for all time."

This unique ecosystem, a vast green expanse of grass, water and palm islands, provides habitat and protection for nearly 300 varieties of birds, 600 kinds of fish and countless mammals.  Scientists agree that there is nothing quite like this "River of Grass" anywhere in the world.

Experience the delicate balance of this national treasure during your 30 minute airboat ride deep into the glades. Skimming through the "River of Grass" at speeds of 40 miles per hour, your driver/guide will make various stops to explain the sights, sounds, and history of this unique area.

Following the airboat ride, you will walk through the exhibit areas where alligators and other native wildlife can be viewed.

Price: $70
