The next CTDA webinar is scheduled for Friday, August 21st at 10 a.m. CENTRAL. Leading this month’s webinar is Management Conference speaker, Mark Krawczyk.

Mark is the Principal and owner of his own professional speaking and consulting firm, CZYK & Associates. Mark has over thirty years of management experience spanning two centuries in banking, corporate finance, treasury operations, human resources and retail store operations.

Through his company, Mark provides consulting, training and professional speaking services to a broad and diverse range of clients around the country. Through numerous writings, lectures, seminars and speaking engagements, Mark brings a unique, insightful and, many times, humorous perspective to contemporary issues facing retailers, bankers higher education and corporate America today.

Mark is a CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), has twice served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and serves on the faculty for the Graduate School of Banking at LSU in Baton Rouge. He is actively sought as an entertaining and informative conference keynote speaker and as a knowledgeable practitioner (some might even say an expert) on treasury management, financial operations, retail store operations and change management issues across the country.

Webinar Participants Will Learn:
This webinar will provide attendees with information concerning how to optimally manage their retail and wholesale store operations. Mark will discuss some very basic philosophies regarding daily opening and closing procedures, the "look and feel" of your sales floor, determining the "welcome" factor you want to achieve as well as other basic decisions you have to make concerning how you want your customers to perceive your store and what you have to offer.

Mark will also focus on certain "management" philosophies, including:

  • The need to understand cash flow in your business.
  • The value of "promotional events" to bring customers into your store.
  • Understanding the competition and how to identify/highlight your unique position in the marketplace.
  • What kind of "marketing" would be effective for your store.
  • How to determine your “target” buyer.
  • Knowing when to "hold 'em" and "when to fold 'em" with regards to efforts to retain customers.
