The next CTDA webinar is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th at 10 a.m. CENTRAL. Leading this month’s webinar is Al Dias, the Vice President of Consultation at Allied Collection Resources, Inc. Allied Collection Resources, Inc. is a nationwide, bonded collection agency located in McKinney, TX. Al started off in the business of collections as a telemarketer soliciting companies and talking to their credit managers regarding placement of troubled accounts or write offs. This lead to his interest in getting out into the field to become more hands on. On a day to day basis Al consults clients on how to minimize their risk moving forward and how to maximize their bottom line. Al has done many presentations throughout the years for various trade associations. Recently, he was a presenter at The Coverings Expo.

Webinar Participants Will Learn:
This session will educate attendees on how to implement certain techniques and procedures in-house to help minimize risk. Al will discuss red flags to look out for during the course of doing business with a current client or a new prospect seeking terms. Use of tools such as Credit and Background checks, Bankruptcy Watch lists, free 7-10 day demand letters as well as when to determine if an account is ready to be turned over to a third party will be discussed. Al will address the process for updating current data bases of customers with new updated credit applications, proof of delivery tickets, invoices, purchase orders, change orders, extra work authorization forms, contracts, etc. Changing the way you do business based on these economic changes will enable you to minimize your losses and be proactive versus reactive.
